Secu·mony stays small by design: small enough that no artist's story gets diluted across a roster, technical enough that no idea gets lost between the studio and the release.
Most production houses split the work in two: an engineer who shapes the sound, and a separate marketing hand who shapes how it's presented once it's done. That handoff is where a lot of artists feel their story go soft: the mix is faithful, but the release announcing it sounds like it was written for someone else's music.
Secu·mony was built to close that gap. The person mixing a vocal and the person writing the caption that introduces it are working from the same understanding of what the song is actually about, so the technical work and the public-facing work stay in the same voice, start to finish.
That's the whole premise, really: everyone has a story. The job is making sure it survives the trip from a rough take to a finished release, intact.
We're not choosing between the audio being right and the story being clear. Both, or we haven't finished.
How we work
Whether a project needs a single service or all eight, it runs through one relationship, not a rotating handoff between departments.
Independent and unsigned artists building a sound sit alongside established, signed acts who need a specific technical or marketing gap filled. Neither gets a diluted version of the process.
We'd rather scope a project honestly on a call than publish a price list or timeline that doesn't hold up once we actually hear the material.
Every service can be done remotely: just send over the files. For artists who want to record, we offer both remote recording options and in-person sessions in Toronto, Ontario and the surrounding areas.
